Gothic Inbetweens

I drew in the margin... that's why there's a big line >_< gah!

Drawn during Eurovision, me sis and I were talling our own prefences and my favourite won! oh yeah I can tell the future muhahaha.

Ah ye good ole explaination. I am revising for the Gothic synoptic by doing this *laugh* it's called Gothic inbetweens because in Gothic the "inbetweens" are a big part of the genre, like the inbetween between night and day, death and life and past and present which I did here. As the top panel is the past and the bottom is the present with Cerys caught inbetween with her magical spear.

The characters then hopefuly match up, the little boy in the top panel on the left is the grown up Sei on the bottom. His mother next to him, now dead, features in the portrait and there is the role reversal as Sei is now the one with the child, Fau. The two figures in the background also feature in the portrait but two figures have been cut out of it as they are still in the present. I confuse myself...

Nainia as a girl in the top panel (with a dirty dress) is now an old woman in the bottom (no... I didn't get my ages and times wrong, there's a plot device where she ages faster than Sei her brother)

it says Britomart on Cerys's spear (from the poem The Fairy Queen)
